    Main Descent of Clapham Park Estate Statutory Declaration by Sir Frederick Howard, knight: For 27 years prior to 1889 he was well acquainted with lands in Land Registry title 705 constituting the bulk of the Clapham Park Estate recently agreed to be sold by executors of the will of Captain Hugh Edmond Browning, deceased, to 'my son' John Howard Howard. Estate formerly belonged jointly to himself and late brother James Howard. It was sold to the late Captain H E Browning in 1887. Mines and minerals have always belonged to owner of surface of said land. To the best of his knowledge no mines or minerals have been worked there.
