    Main Descent of Clapham Park Estate Power of Attorney by Geoffrey Howard, Clapham Park, gentleman Reciting will of James Howard, late of Clapham Park, dated 22 May 1888 by which he appointed James Harold Howard, said Geoffrey Howard and John Frederick Nutter his executors and trustees By a land certificate it was certified that James and Frederick Howard were registered proprietors of lands in Schedule and their title was absolute. Legal estate was vested in them as joint tenants but in equity they were tenants in common in equal shares. Trustees have concurred with Frederick Howard in sale of all land described in Schedule to Hugh Edmond Browning of Hinwick House, near Wellingborough, Northants, for £28,650 and £2,865 has been paid as a deposit. No conveyance has been made and Geoffrey Howard is going abroad. He is advised that to enable said purchase to be completed, it is necessary that Frederick Howard should be entered on register as sole proprietor. Now said Geoffrey Howard appoints John Howard Howard, Bedford, iron founder, to be attorney for him to execute such deeds as are necessary to procure Frederick Howard to be entered on the Register as sole proprietor of said lands. This agreement to be irrevocable for period of 6 months.
