Messrs Howard to plant quickset hedge and dig ditch alongside (part of said 30 ft width) 3. Road beyond Orchard Field to be abandoned 4. Messrs Howard to divert footpath from Clapham Park Farm across North Field and Doghole to top of the Upper Shrubbery by taking it across their land to point where Messrs Howard's, Mr Fitzpatrick's and his own land join. 'This has never been a public path'. Any other stipulations as in previous letter. £150, less his legitimate charges, to be paid to Messrs Barnard and Wing in part discharge of their mortgage 'We get on board in two hours - goodbye - my address will be Calcutta'
