    Abstract of Will and codicil of Charles Longuet Higgins, Turvey Abbey, Esq .......to wife, Helen Eliza Higgins -all his consumable stores and carriages and carriage horses -mansion house called Turvey Abbey, gardens etc -Pear Tree Close adjoining the garden, with use of furniture and effects to hold house for life, she to insure and keep same in repair. After her decease, or ceasing to occupy said mansion house, then house devised to use of brother Henry Hugh Higgins, absolutely .......to Henry Hugh Higgins -all tithes of Turvey -residue of personal estate all rest and residue of freehold and copyhold manors, lands etc to be held: to use that wife should receive annuity of £300 in addition to her jointure, and testator's sister, Mary Steventon, to receive annuity of £100 by the Rev William Brighton Russell and the Rev John William Burgon, for 500 years from his decease, and subject thereto: to use of brother Henry Hugh Higgins, for ever said term of 500 years limited to secure said annuities when in arrears .......to said Helen Eliza Higgins, Henry Hugh Higgins and Harry Thornton, late of Turvey, Esq -all trust and mortgaged estates They also appointed executors and executrix 7 March 1864 Codicil of 12 March 1875 .......to said wife -further annuity of £200 If wife living at decease of Mary Steventon then annuity of £100 to go to wife Testator died 23 January 1885 Will and codicil proved (Northampton)
