By Orders of Court of Chancery of 11 Aug 1848 and 20 Jan 1852, a scheme was settled for the management of the Clergy and Almshouse Charities
The Trustees of the Clergy Charity to be owners of prop in England of not less than £100 yearly value or to have pers prop of not less than £200. When number of trustees dropped to 3, surviving trustees shd appoint 2 more, who were to sign memorandum in book to be kept by trustees, that they were qualified to be trustees, within 1 mth of appointment
