Assignment of mortgage term to attend inheritance
1 Mary Baskerville, Harrold, widow, relict of Miles Baskerville late of Bedford, sadler deceased and also sole executrix of his last will and testament (to transfer property at direction of 2)
2 Mary Hensman, late of Bedford, now of Blunham, widow and relict of George Hensman, late of Bedford perukemaker deceased and also sole Exectrix and residuary legatee of his last will and testament
3a Benjamen King, Bedford, draper (entitled to å share of inheritance)
3b Thomas Palmer, Bedford, grocer and tallow chandler (entitled to å share of inheritance)
4 Henry Hurst, Bedford, gent (trustee)
Whereas Ann Ward, Wilden, widow and Thos Ward, Bedford, malster both deceased by indenture on or about 1 April 1689 for consideration mentioned did sell to Phillip Nichols and John Faldo (amongst other things)
- messuage or tenement at East End, Wilden, where said Ann Ward afterward dwelt
- 3a pasture adjacent lately occupied by [blank] Rudd and now of George Cook to them Nichols and Faldo their heirs and assigns for term of 500 years
Rent: a peppercorn
A proviso for making indenture void on payment of a sum at a certain time was made but the sum was not paid and therefore the interest of Phillip Nicholls and John Faldo to be absolute for remainder said term 500 years.
Whereas Phil Nicholls, John Faldo by by indenture 23 January 1690/1 for a certain consideration by direction of Thos Ward's assigns to Robert Clarke heirs and assigns estate right title interest and term of years of said premises for remainder of 500 years.
Whereas said Robert Clarke sometime afterwards purchased the said inheritances of said mortgage from Thomas Hand and conveyed it to Abraham Bolton and heirs in trust for said Robert Clarke, heirs and assigns.
Whereas indenture, 11 September 1736.
1 Elizabeth Clarke, St Andrew, Holborn, Middx, spinster, only child and exectrix of goods and chattels of late father Robert Clarke who died intestate

Reciting conveyance by 1 to 2 of said therein mentioned consideration at direction of 2 and assigns unto 3 messuages and tenement and pasture said term of 500 years in trust for 2 heirs and assigns.
Whereas Benjamin King and Thos Palmer agreed with Mary
Hensman (devisee in fee of said premises) for absolute purchase of said premises in equal moieties and that term should be assigned to same person or persons in trust for B King and T Palmer.
Witnesseth in consideration 5s to Mary Baskerville paid by Henry Hurst, B King. T Palmer before sealing of receipt thereof and for other considerations mentioned in a certain indenture and Release bearing even date made between:

2 Benjamin King, Thomas Palmer
3 Thomas Barker, Bedford, woolstapler; Joseph Freelove, Bedford, ironmonger
Said Mary Baskerville at request of Mary Hensman transferred to Henry Hurst, his executors and assigns said messuage and pasture and all other premises mentioned set out to Miles Baskerville. All estate tithe and interest etc by last will and testament of Miles Baskerville for remainder of term of 500 years, upon the trust hereinafter mentioned, concerning one moiety or equal half share of the said premises in trust for said Benjamin King, said term to go along with said inheritance and prohibit same from all subsequent encumbrances.
The other moiety in trust for said Thomas Palmer, heirs and assigns.
Said Mary Baskerville promises B King and T Palmer that said Mary and Miles Baskerville have not made any former gift, grant, conveyance etc of any premises mentioned.

Whereas recites part of previous indenture
Whereas Benjamin King conveyed freehold and inheritance of his moiety in messuage cottages tenement and close of pasture to said Thomas Palmer.
Whereas Hen Hurst since deceased, having made will of 19 January 1771 appointing grandson Robert Harris Hurst, Odell, clerk, sole executor.
Whereas Thomas Palmer by lease and release dated herewith conveyed freehold and inheritance of premises to Edward Green, Esq, Saint Gabriel, Fenchurch Street, Middx, who hath devised that term of 1000 years may be kept on foot and premises assigned to Nath Hulme, Charter House Square, Middx for remainder of term of 1000 years in trust for said Edward Green.
Witness 10s to Rob Harris Hurst paid by Nath Hulme sold by consent of said Thos Palmer and Edward Green in trust for said Edward Green
