    To:Geo Austin. "Gresham's Charity. Whatever you and the gentlemen of Shefford think proper to do herein will be satisfactory to me and five (illeg) my daughters, but as to Le Maitre and wife (illeg) cannot answer. We hold no communication with them nor do we intend to have any. Mr. Jennings you are aware has managed the matter for us, and to him if you please you will apply as to costs allowed you and as to the proper steps to get the money for division. I do not think of attending. Mr. Cole's intentions I know not, I will howev write him. I had your letter of the 28th this morning. I will send a copy of it and of this my reply to you to Mr. Jennings. My daughters here join me in kind regards to you and yours." U.V.
