Copy of report of a Meeting of the Commissioners for the Improvement of the Town of Bedford, and draft of letter from the Clerk, Theed Pearse, to the Directors of the Bedford Gas Company, regarding the payment of £165 5s for public lighting. The Commissioners being unable to discharge the debt for want of funds agree to pay interest at 4% p.a. until principal paid.
