forthe purpose of giving consent to the exhibition of "X" certificate films as required by condition 5 attached to cinematograph licences the Committee may appoint a Special Sub-committee consisting of all or a majority of members of the Committee and 2 other persons who shall be nominated by Bedford Corporation
By the 1973/4 Yearbook powers had passed in part to the Local Government Committee (censorship of films) and Fire & Emergency Services Committee (buildings)
