    27 Aug 1690 i) Matthew Hollingworth ii) Wm Jarvis and Francis Lawson SETTLEMENT on the MARRIAGE of Thomas Hollingworth son of (i) and Elizabeth dau. of William Jarvis, and in consideration of £18, being conveyance by (i) to (ii) to uses of: (A) mess. with appurts. in Ridgmont where (i) then living with outbuildings, the road from Ampthill to Woburn S to hold to the use of Matthew Hollingworth and w Mary for life of survivor, then to Thomas and Elizabeth Hollingworth and their heirs B) sweard ground with appurts, 1r., the said highway N to the use of Thomas and Elizabeth Hollingworth and their heirs 1707 or before: death of Matthew Hollingworth 1722 or after: death of Mary Hollingworth before 1722 "a protestant dissenting Meetinghouse was made upon the premises (A) either by part of the said messuage or tenement or by an additional building adjoining thereto" Before 1722 Thomas Hollingworth had come into possession of 5a sweard ground in Ridgmont exclusive of (B), and a house and been built and an orchard planted on (B) 15th Feb 1721/2 the will of Thomas Hollingworth of Ridgmont, cooper. to son Thomas Hollingworth: the house the testator now lives in and all outhouses and the shop and orchard and appurts. in Ridgmont, the testator's wife to receive the rent "of the Meeting Place that joyneth to my house for her use dureing her Life", and then to son Thomas. All lands and sweard ground in Ridgmont, 5a., charged with £20 to dau. Mary and £10 to son John to son Matthew Hollingworth the messuage on the other side of the road from his house, after wife's death, and he to pay son John £15 If testator's mother shall survive him, then wife to have her in the house bequeathed to son Thomas Hollingworth. to wife Eliz. his cow and all household goods and pewter and brass and linen to son William 20s. Son Thos. sole exor. Witnesses: Samuel Butler, John Cooke, John Robins. Thus testator had wife Eliz., and children Mary, Thomas, William, Matthew and John, in that order. 3rd June 1768 i) Thomas Hollingworth, the eldest son of Thomas H. by Elizabeth his wife, both decd. ii) Joseph Bevan and Thos. Roberts Conveyance (Feoffment) by (i) to (ii) ... cottage or tenement at Ridgmont used as a Meeting House and adj. the messuage of Thos. Hollingworth E and to the garden and premises of Simon Taylor esq. in the occ. of Wm. Read W, and the street S, together with a small piece of ground fronting the cottage or tenement. 21/22 Apr 1774 i) Joseph Bevan and Thos. Roberts ii) John Buttfield, Robt. Goode, Thos. Marshall, Ebenezer Keech, James Buttfield, Phil: Thompson, George Fowler and Richard Cooke Conveyance by L and R by (i) to (ii) for £30 ... premises as in deed 1768 13/14 Apr 1774 i) Thos. Hollingworth ii) second parties as in previous deed ... the rest of the premises being the original (A) i.e. a piece of meadow or pasture with the appurts. in Ridgmont being part of an orchard belonging to (i) then in his own tenure or occupation containing in length 35 yards and in breadth 11 yards abtg on the SE on the Meeting House, and on an orchard in the tenure of one Pratt on SW and on Holy Bush on N
