Letter (one sheet with strike) from John Sharpe Palmer, Welbeck Street to Mrs Gibbard, Luton condolences on death of Leo Hampson, who was one of Palmer's oldest and "most valuable friends" Hampson promised to send security for £2000 which remained in his hands ever since the sale of farm at Farley [probably Farley near Luton], was to be mortgaged wants to know to whom to apply to for money.
