Private Account Book of a) Probably of Colonel Richard Beke (died 1707) of Dinton, Bucks b) second handwriting (representative of a member of Beke family 1709-1711 c) Representative/member of Antonie family, latterly acting for Anne (nee Beke) Mainly receipts of rent, probably in Dinton area Bucks including Bishopstone Farm BUT schooling of boys mentioned On spine is written in later hand 'Account Book of Mark Antonie'. This is likely to be wrong as his handwriting does not appear in the book. The breaks of handwriting do occur at dates consistent with this being a book kept by the Beke family and not Marc Antonie's. Note by J Lee of Hartwell October 1860 records book brought from Colworth in 1827 LXX111 pencilled on cover.
