    Lease for 21 years from the Right Reverend Thomas, Bishop of Ely (i) to Charles Longuet Higgins of Turvey Abbey, esquire (ii), in consideration of the surrender of a lease dated 29 Sep 1848 for 21 years from (i) to (ii) and £400, of: - all the tithes in Turvey, formerly belonging to the dissolved monastery of St. Neots, and rent charges in commutation of tithe, formerly in the tenure of the Right Honourable Lady Mordaunt, afterwards of Robert and Ann Welborne and since Charles and John Higgins. Demise: Unto (ii), his executors and administrators from 29 Sep 1854 paying a yearly rent of £5. Witness: S. Dunning of 27 Parliament Street, Westminster, secretary to (i). Endorsed: 'Entered in the Registry Book of Leases granted by Thomas Lord Bishop of Ely'.
