    Extracted Probate of the will of Thomas Shelton of Duloe, farmer. Devises all his real estate to his [second] wife Elizabeth Shelton [d. 1 Apr 1883 intestate according to a marginal note] for life, remainder to his son Christopher Shelton in fee simple; gives all his personal estate to his wife and 2 sons George and Christopher equally share and share alike; and appoints his 2 sons executors. [13] March 1850 [marginal note in pencil that the property is in mortgage to John Hill Day 'now [ie 1883] deceased']. Witnesses: George Day of St Neots, contsolicitor, and his clerk John Wilson Probate on 20 May 1864, TS having died on 8 April 1864 at Duloe, in the Northampton D.P.R. by the oaths of GS of No 6 Ridborough [sic] St., Euston Rd., carpenter, and CS of 25 Aldenham Terrace, St Pancras, carpenter.
