Title
Addressed to Floore, Weedon. Thanks her for note and birthday card. Sorry not to see her last Sunday. Twice during morning service he surveyed the pews.
They are all pretty well at the Parsonage. During April he was very unwell and it reached its Climax about six weeks ago. His vol. on Ezra has been out two months. It contains 200 pages, is beautifully printed and bound like Numbers. 'It is, in my opinion, the best piece of literary work I have done.'
Is reminded of the Revised Version of the New Testament. Will be great boon to those who cannot read Greek. She will recognise many corrections as having been made by him in Bible Class.
His sister, Maria, was received into the Church last evening.
Next week the evening service will be held on Wednesday instead of Monday, as a trial for 4 months.
Glorious weather makes him feel hungry for mountains and sea. In 6 weeks time will be within shadow of Snowdon and by Irish Sea or Menai Straits. Is engaged to conduct Services at English Cong. Church at Upper Bangor on 17 and 24 July. Encloses loving letter from 'my dear Boy' [not present].
