After disposing of his personal estate, he gave all his real estate to wife for life and then to W J Barrett in trust for sale. Said William Childs died on 8 April 1894. Will proved (PPR) on 30 May 1895. Lucy Mead died on 19 August 1945. Probate granted to i) by PPR on 6 June 1946. Now in consideration of £293 10s paid by ii) to i). i) as personal representative of Lucy Childs, deceased, conveys to ii) - piece of land in Luton, with frontage to SE side of Chase Street of 43 ft, and uniform depth of 124 ft 10 inches (area - 19 sq p and 17 sq yds). Said piece of land formerly formed the site of 29,31 and 33 Chase Street (as on plan on deed). (i) acknowledges right of ii) to production of documents as in schedule.
