Alken (1785-1851) "Full Cry: The Oakley Hunt"; one of his last, painted while staying with Magniac at Colworth 1841-7; the largest he ever did, 40" x 64"; now in the United States (purchase price over £1,500); sold 1962 by Bernard of Ryder St., St. James, who used this reproduction for a Christmas card.
