Pages on the built environment including the Bier House, the war memorial, the Row Chapel, Kymbrook Lower School, the White Horse and public amenities such as telephone boxes and bus shelters; descriptions of listed buildings; public transport; Donkey Lane; shopping facilities and survey of shopping habits conducted by the W.I.; biography of an elderly resident; business-people and others who provide services to the village (postal delivery, bus, etc.); seasons and weather data, wildlife. Vol. 2: Organisations and Events in the Life of the Village in 2000. Pages on local government (Parish Council, etc.) and organisations (including individuals involved) such as ‘The Village Voice’ newsletter team, the Keysoe WI and the Keysoe Art Group; local events including the Spring Fayre, School Fête, Bolnhurst Rally and Kymbrook School sports day; St. Mary’s church, the Millenium Service, bellringers, Remembrance Sunday, Harvest Festival and Keysoe Feast 2000; Autograss car racing at Wyboston; and a small study of styles and trends in household furnishing and decoration, as well as fabrics, with samples.
