(iii) Edward Taunton Williams of Aspley Guise, Beds, solicitor. (iv) Ernest Flint of 80 Coleman Street, City of London, Architect. (v) Reverend Percy Greeves of Kempston, clerk in holy orders. Reciting: - Deed of endowment relating to Saint Johns Homes Charity, Kempston dated the 20th Dec 1881 (Hereafter called the principal deed). - (i) did not assign the sum of £1000 mentioned in the principal deed to the trustees but instead purchased £1010/1/- India 3% stock which now makes up the endowment fund. - (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) are the present trustees of the principal deed. - (i) has recently paid the trustees £1000. Operative: - The trustees shall hold the £1010/1/- India 3% stock and the sum of £1000 recently paid to them by (i) subject to the trusts, powers and provisions outlined in the principal deed. Habendum: To (ii), (iii) & (iv) upon the following trusts: - Paying a sum not exceeding £2 towards the expense of the funeral of each occupant of the almshouses dying there. - Weekly payment of £-/2/6 to the occupants (7 in number) of the 5 almshouses referred to in clause 2 of the principal deed. - As to the balance (if any) to provide a fund to be used for any of the necessary expenses referred to in clause 2 of the principal deed. Covenants: - A married couple occupying one almshouse should be treated as one occupant concerning the said weekly payments. Witnessed: - Kalitha M.
