Scope and Content
Sorry Virtue did not leave the interest of all her money to her husband for life "and so secure all to the boy; poor little fellow if spared to become a man. He will never be able to earn his living, whereas his father is quite strong and able to work" Money will soon dwindle - Harry always pressing Virtue to sell out her shares to give him the money to farm with - writer advised against it; well known he is no man of business
Dick troubled to see child so fragile. Glad Annie pretty well "through her trying times" end came as great shock
