    326 Ampthill Road, Bedford. Letter to Alec from his mother. Woken up about 3 o clock 'but the thing dropped at Chicksands Priory.' Alec Hemmings went up in a Halifax and collided mid-air with a Tiger Moth all seven chaps were killed, Alec was buried at Willian. Graham Winterbottom went in the RAF but was taken into hospital and discharged from the RAF.
