Letter to Alec from 1302085 Corporal Ken Robinson A.M.E.S 109, HQ72 Wing RAF, British Liberation Army Sorry they couldn't do this little job out here together. Owing to bad weather we were at sea 6 days so it was the 21st Oct before we stormed Hitlers Fortress! My particular landing was quite spectacular as I was riding a Harley Davidson and the ramp being so steep & slippery I got into a front wheel skid and decided to release all brakes and make it a water jump. What a splash but I came up the other side ok with a look of grim determination! Spent a week in the Ardennes and then to our allotted site, we have certainly had some grand stand views of the recent offensives. We find the Dutch people can't do enough for you but its difficult to make ourselves understood.
