Mum and Dad away, Gran and Grandad here. Has just finished her shorthand for this week. Typing class she has been typing keeping in time with a gramophone.
Is still going down to Humphrey's some afternoons and some mornings. Has a new coat.
Had a buzz bug here the other day it came down in some fields between Ravensden & Thurleigh, about 1 and a half miles from Tuckers farm. Mary heard it come over.
Mary is fed up with the new secretary Mr Prince, he does not know anything about the Dairy trade. Mary wants me to tell you she is Jack Hills and has been promoted. You know what she means, she is in charge of the keys.
