    Grant of supporters to Sir Richard Hussey Hussey by Ralph Digland, Garter King; and the Royal Licence. The supporters were originally assigned to his maternal uncle Lieut General Vere Warner Hussey, on the dexter a soldier of the East India Company's Artillery holding a flag and on the sinister a soldier of the native artillery of Bengal also habited proper and holding a flag; both flags inscribed 'Hindostan' in letters of gold Parchment illuminated with arms and supporters in embossed leather case.

    Sir Richard-Hussey Hussey of Upwood, Hunts (formerly Vice-Admiral Richard-Hussey Moubray, b 22 Oct 1815) was the father of Eleanor, who married Lord St John of Bletsoe on the 12 March 1838 it is presumed that this grant came into the St John archives through Eleanor.
