    Conveyance. Parties (i) Charles Bailey Halliley (solicitor), Bedford. (ii) George Haywood the elder (builder), Bedford. (iii) William Warwick and Charles Osborn (builders), both of Bedford. Recitals (I) By indenture dated 27 June 1889, (ii) conveyed the use of (a) below in fee simple by way of mortgage to (i). (ii) agreed to sell to (iii) at 95 and 10 shillings. 385 with interest is now due on the security of herein recited indenture. Agreement that 85 and 10 shillings be paid (i) out of purchase money. Operative part (i) conveys to (iii) by the direction of (ii), in consideration of 95 and 10 shillings for: (a) Piece of land containing 1,876 square feet in the parish of Saint Cuthbert, bounded on the north by Castle Road, on the west by Howbury Street, and on the east and south by other property owned by C.B. Halliley. Full rights for (iii) to pass along and over Howbury Street and castle Road and all other roads and streets that may hereafter be made. Also have right to use the sewers and water pipes under the street and road, and to break the soil of Howbury Street and Castle Road for purposes of repair, connection or relaying. (iii) covenants to repair the abovementioned roads to the satisfaction of the surveyor of William Hugh Wade Gery and Richard Wade Gery, until they are taken over by the Bedford Corporation.(iii) must give the surveyor three days notice of their intention to break up roads. During their repairs of the roads the traffic should not be interfered with in any way. They cannot erect more than one house on said land and the house must not be of less than 100 value. (iii) must not carry on the business of inn-keeping or victualler. Beer, malt liquor, wines and spirits may only be sold in bottles from any house, shop or building on this land.
