Recitals (I) Indentures of mortgage dated 3 November 1875, 20 September 1880, and 20 March 1884, respectively, between (i) and George Lake (solicitor), for securing the payment of the sums of 900, 500 and 1,500 respectively, whereby certain hereditaments comprised in the now recited indenture were demised to G. Lake. (ii) with the consent of (i) as protector of the settlements made under the will of Dame Isabella Bell Cooper and indenture dated 20 June 1881, (iii) as trustee, conveyed to George Edward Lake estate of (ii). To be lawful for (iii) to sell estate at request of (i) and (ii). Operative part William Honywood and Benjamin Greene Lake, trustees, and at the request of Edward Henry Frederick Dawlins and Edward Charles Honywood Dawlins, put property up for auction and Edward Mayo was the highest bidder for 440 and further sum of 24 for the timber and underwood, paid to the trustees for land and premises in Morhanger, Bedfordshire, namely: (a) Number 64 on plan - Two cottages and gardens and blacksmiths shop, let to Ann Fields and Thomas Mash , containing one rood, 8 perches. (b) Number 158 on plan - pastureland. (c) Number 157 on plan - two cottages and gardens let respectively to William Rickess and William Ashwell and Charles Farr, containing 3 acres, 2 roods, 6 perches.
