    Conveyance Parties (i) George Bower (gas engineer), of Saint Neots, Huntingdon. (ii) Thomas Spencer (builder), Bedford. Recitals (I) Indenture dated 16 February 1882 between - Charles Robert Wade Gery - William Hugh Wade Gery - George Bower to the use of Thomas Spencer in fee simple. Spencer covenants with Bower to erect (within six calendar months) a fence wall at the east side of the hereditaments, not to be less than six feet in height above the level of the footpath in the adjoining road. Spencer also covenants that he will not erect more than eight houses on the land, and that any house erected will not be of less value than the sum of 450, and that the main wall of the buildings shall not be nearer to the front of the said land than shown on the plan contained herein. Bower covenants to pay Spencer 10 shillings per yard lineal, as soon as he has erected the party wall. Operative part (ii) purchased the fee simple from (i) in consideration of 918 and 11 shillings for: (a) land in the parish of Saint Cuthbert, being part of the "Bower Building Estate," and known as lots 193, 194, 195 and 196, bounded on the north, south and east by another part of "The Bower Building Estate," on the west by River Street, and measures on the north side 132 feet, on the south side 104 feet, on the east side 309 feet and six inches, and on the west side 320 feet.
