Abstract of Title of The Estate Trustees of the Legal and General Life Assurance Society and Helion Dieudonne Comte de Rotalier to property at Eaton Bray being a portion of the Pedley Settled Estates. Recites - marriage settlement of Arthur Macnamara and Sophia Eliza Hare 1854 - indenture of 16 Oct 1878 wherein it was agreed and declared that R Hare J Staple and J Macnamara should retain and hold the freehold farm at Eaton Bray called Old Ley Farm as security for the transfer of the sum of 2000 3% consolidated Bank Annuities into the names of the trustees - Order of Exchange whereby nos 1-8 on the plan (Fen Piece, Lower Rye Close, Upper Rye Close, House Buildings Yard and Garden, Orchard, Home Close and Paddock) came to Arthur Macnamara as tenant for life in place of nos 9-24 (Little Calves Close, Home Meadow, Farm Buildings, House and Garden, Orchard, Clump Bushes, Great and Little Court sides, Long Close, Part Great Park Field and Clump Bushes) 13 July 1882 - Mortgage between i) Arthur Macnamara and ii) Estate Trustees. i) to pay ii) 40,000 with interest and granted unto ii) various messuages farm lands and hereditaments in the Parish of Eaton Bray as scheduled and including the Eaton Bray Lodge Estate. 9 Dec 1889 - Indenture5 May 1899 - Order that Estate Trustees as mortgagees might exercise rights to sell or concur in selling the property or parts of the property comprised in the mortgage of 9 Dec 1889. 23 June 1915 - Indenture i) Charles Helion Dieudonne Comte de Ratolier, ii) Frederick Toulimin Leeming. i) conveyed to ii) all that undivided moiety or other share to which the Count was seised or entitled at law or in equity for an estate in tail to hold in fee simple to the use of the count in fee simple and absolutely. 21 Oct 1915.
