Covenant between Master Esmond de Morteyn, Lord of Merston and Roger de Goldyngton, lord of Goldyngton for the mar- riage of John, son of Roger's daughter, with either Agnes de Mor- teyn, Elizabeth de Morteyn, or Anne de Morteyn at the choice of the said Esmond, and the settling the manors of Goldyngton and Gravenhurst on Sir William Marchal, parson of Merston, Robert de Sothewik, parson of Pertenhale in trust for the said John and his wife and the heirs of their bodies, with remainder if they have no such heir to the heirs male of the said Roger.
