I am sorry I cannot give thee so improved an account as I could wish of our dear Sam but the case has {now} assumed the form of a remittent (i.e. returning at irregular intervals) & likely to be tedious tho' B.S. says if it should last another month he has no doubt of the dear boy doing well eventually - he considers him going on quite as favourably as we can expect -
I find it is post time so must conclude this & write again sooner.-
The dear boy really seems brighter & has his clothes on in the middle of the day & lays on the bed - Thine, P.S.
