    Conveyance from George Bygraves of Biggleswade, butcher, to Mary Mace, wife of Cornelius Mace of Shefford, grocer, for 100 (retained by MM but owed to JR as in /8) and 120 paid to GB by MM of: (a)piece of land situate in N. Bridge St., Shefford bounded on the N. by property of Robert Johnson on which side it has a depth of 16' 6", on S. by property of William Sugars also with a depth of 16' 6", on the E. by North Bridge Street to which it has a frontage of 22' 4" and on W. by property of [ ] Caton where it has a width of 21ft. together with a grocer's shop and the buildings standing on the land or part thereof as was late in the occupation of RR and now in occupation of CM and his wife MM [being land as in /8] Acc. 7421X 827/10 To hold to CM in fee simple subject to the continued mortgage and 100 secured thereby. Recites (inter alia) that by his will dated 14 May 1885 RR appointed his son-in-law GB as executor to whom he gave his real estate upon trust for sale with MM (ne Rider) his daughter, having a right of pre-emption, to be exercised within 3 months of his death, over his house, shop and premises at a price of 220; that RR died on 1 Apr 1888 and his will was proved in Northampton District Registry on 15 May 1888; and that MM has decided to exercise right of pre-emption. Witnessed by William Hodgetts, clerk to Arthur S. Wade Gery, solicitor, of Shefford.
