-will of Robert Chamberlin of 23 May 1733 devising all real estate in Meppershall in occupation of John Turner to (i) in trust for sale;
- proof of will of Robert Chamberlin in PCC on 20 Feb 1733 [1734]
Operative Part:
- (i), with consent and by direction of (ii) released (a) to (iii) for 700, with a further 5/- paid to each of (ii)
Property; seven fifteenths of the following land in Meppershall formerly in possession of Elizabeth Grey, now in occupation of John Turner:
(a) Home Close and Bushy Close now joined into one close called Home Close of 10 acres;
(b) Great Mowing Pasture now called Burge Close of 18 acres;
(c) Long Close of 15 acres;
(d) meadow formerly called Little Mowing Close, now Taylors Close of 8 acres;
(e) meadow, now in two pieces formerly known as the Fatting Pasture, now one piece called Shefford Close and the other The Meadow totalling 15 acres;
(f) meadow called the Whittington Piece of 24 acres;
(g) Long Spring, now known as the Little Pightle of 2 acres;
(h) Hoo Wood, now called Upper Close of 12 acres
