Probate of Will of Jos. Barnard.
- To son Jos. £1,000.
- Exors. to invest £5,000 in names of 4 trustees,
2 of whom to be nominated by Exor. & 2 by son
Jos., in trust to pay interest to son Jos. for
life, then to his children. To be divided among
latter on their attaining majority or marriage.
Trustees may advance up to 1/2 each child's share
towards their maintenance. If no children, to
merge in residual estate.
- To sister Ann, £50 annuity.
- To son-in-law Digby Carpenter, £500.
- To Bedford Infirmary £100.
- To friend Wm. H. Whitbread £5 for a ring.
- To clerk Wm. Jones 19 guineas if still in employ.
- To son Thos., all real, and residue of personal
estate.
- A declaration of trust to be drawn up to admin-
ister the trust fund; if Jos. attempts to assign or
alienate it, then to be pd. to Thos.
