(i) Jas. Franklyn of Ampthill, saddler.
(ii) Arthur Smithey of Bedf. same.
- - - (a) (i) is entitled to the following legacies :-
£5 by will of Thos. Yarway of Kempston, to be pd.
at age 18; £5 by will of Cicily Yarway of Houghton
Conquest, to be pd. at age 21; £5 by will of
Anne Yarway of Thickthorne, par. Houghton C.
to be pd. at age 25.
- (b) He needs ready money to set up as a saddler
& the legacies are difficult to recover.
- (c) (ii) to give (i) £3 in lieu, and (i) is to
release all claim on the legacies to (ii).
- (d) (i) to allow his name to be used by (ii)
in any suits to recover the legacies from
Jas. Yarway.
- (e) If any legacy is recovered, (i) to grant
a release to (ii).
- (f) If all legacies are recovered (i) to have
no right in, but (ii) shall give (i) 10s. to
buy a pair of gloves.
