Title
Letter: Geo. Taylor, Market St., to Jacson, asking for instructions.
The Lesleys 'have sent away from the premises eleven waggon-loads
of trees, bricks and materials, which according to the waggoners
account could not weigh less than 22 tons. There was formerly a
very large chimney belonging to the school rooms which was pulled
down to erect another for the late Mr. Lesley's counting-house, which
was made by taking away a part of the school-room. This counting
house they have now demolish'd, taken down the chimney and carted
the bricks away.' They intend to pull down also a pantry and
small dairy.
