Title
Letter: Geo. Taylor, Market St., to Jacson, thanking him for the post.
The Lesley family not cooperative. 'I am concerned to state to you
that Yesterday during divine service the whole family of the
Lesleys (not excepting the females) were employed in cutting down
all the fruit-trees, some of which were very valuable, Shrubs, etc.
and pulling down one of the outbuildings, destroying every thing
that was valuable upon the ground'. ...'Since writing the above I
have learned that they have been committing still greater excesses
destroying the inside of the house, untiling the school-room and I
know not where it will end.
