To be buried in grave of child at Westham Church, to be carried
privately with 2 or 3 coaches without escutcheons or pall
bearers, only 3 or 4 friends and some of his children 'to
see me laid in their Brother's grave';
to dau. Mary Buckeridge share in house in Cheapside which came to
him by mortgage purchased from Mr. Hitchcock, for life, then
to her children, in default to youngest son Nicholas and heirs,
in default to son Henry and heirs;
to dau. Mary the red flowered silk sofa with cushions, covers
for the chairs of the same and the chairs to which they belong,
with calico cushions, the second best feather bed, the white
or coloured Indian quilt, her chest of drawers and glass book
case, the large looking glass in a black frame bought by her
mother, her watch, a large bible, her books and such of
testator's books as were her mother's, her clothes, linen,
lace and anything given her by testator's brother Bourne
or others, 10 of silver plate and 10 in money for mourning,
the pictures of Sir Edward and Sir Robt. Atkyns and of her
mother, of herself and of Lady Mary Chambers and of Mr. Maubest,
drawn by Dahl, with a copy to be made of one of the testator's own
portrait at about 2 gns. expence, th[..] flower pot pictures
by Montings, a picture drawn by testator of Eton and part of
Windsor Castle, a pair of pictures with flowers and grapes
drawn on looking glass with a lady's head drawn on a three
quarter cloth by Sir Godfrey Kneller, one of the two large
china dishes, one large bason, six china plates bought from
India by testator's father;
to youngest son Nicholas the half estate which came from his mother
in Sussex hoping that she will in due course put him in
possession; testator's house at Highgate after death of wife
who is to have it for 10 p.a. if she wish; his Indian bond
of 100 left by his godfather and part of 200 in South Sea
Company, half the English books 'and if he shall be bred a scholor
all my large Books relating to divinity, his dear Brother's
picture drawn by Morland', his own picture, one of the
pictures with landskips drawn by testator, picture of his
godfather and wife;
to Mr [...]. Mr. Maubest, Mr. Yardley and Mr. Lip[...], mourning rings;
to eldest son wife's picture by Sir Godfrey Kneller, testator's by
Dahl, his own, and six of testator's drawings, with rest of books,
and on marriage half household furniture and 40 in silver
plate, half other pictures, and after wife's death, rest of
property.
