Thoswihan Brandreth I had sufficient title to mortgage
the estate. In brief recapitulation of facts states that
after the marriage of Thoswihan Brandreth and Mary Buckeridge
'Thoswihan Brandreth decd. Proved a very Improvident Man and
brought himself to the Necessity of borrowing Money continually
and at last being greatly Pressed for Money he by the Assistance
of Nehemiah his Brother (An Attorney) Set up the Deed of
Appointment of 31 Decr. 1713 and under that Deed pretending Title t
to the Fee Farm Rent he suffered a Recovery of it and made the
Mortgage in Question'
