PROBATE of will of Thos. Simons of Kensworth, Herts., yeo.
-estate in Kensworth to sons John Simons of Kings Dangley,
mealman, Geo. Simons, Shortgrove, Totternhoe, yeo. and to son in
law John Partridge, Tilsworth, yeo., for the life of dau. Ann the
wife of Thos. Parken, she to be paid the profits for the term of her
life. On the death of Ann Parken to go to Ann's eldest dau, Sarah
Parken. If said Sarah shd. die in her minority, or marry without the
consent of the trustees, then the property to be sold and the money
divided among all the chn. of Ann Parken.
to Thos. Simons, son of Geo., 25, best suit of clothes, best great coat
to Thos. Simons, son of late Thos. Simons decd., 25, clock and
clock case;
to Eliz. and Hannah Simons, two daus. of son Geo. 10;
to Mary, another dau. of son Geo., 5;
to the two daus. of son Jn. Simons, 10 each;
to Ann Parken youngest dau. of sd. Ann Parken 5;
to Sarah, Eliz. and Mary Parken, other daus. of Ann Parken, a feather
bed apiece;
to Eliz. Parken, best quilt;
firewood to be divided bet. sons in law Thos. Parken and Jn. Partridge
and grandson Thos. Simons son of decd. son Thos.;
to chn. of Thos. Parken the sums owed to testator by their father;
to be buried at Caddington ch. next his wife, to be carried there
by son in law Thos. Parken.
5 in bread to poor of Caddington in Bedfordshire.
Residue to be divided bet. three trustees above, who are also exors.
