Roger Chapman sold for 1,000 [?] the manor of Wootton Hoe with messuage and several closes of pasture in Wootton adjoining in occupation of Roger Chapman and Henry Hall and all premises of Roger Chapman in Wootton, Marston Moretaine and North Crawley [Buckinghamshire] to William Carpender and Charles Cocks as portion for Mary Carpender in trust for:
- Roger Chapman until marriage;
- Anthony Chapman and Mary his wife until the death of the longest survivor;
- issue of the marriage;
- heirs of Anthony Chapman
