  • Scope and Content
According to the donor (C T Prudden's son), his father listened at a house in Westbourne Road, Queen's Park occupied by a Mr Skinner, but there is no evidence to substantiate this. C T Prudden lived at 103, Gladstone Street and worked for the Post Office. During World War One he worked as a telegraphist sapper and was mentioned in dispatches in the GPO at Bedford. A retired radio engineer stated that the photograph shows three spare tuning coil packs with handles visible. Each vovered its own bandwidth with nine to a set but the others are not visible. One in the set would be working at a time.
