Hayward, with suits at the mill, multure, and all profits to the sd. mills belonging; annual value 26s.8d.; sometime part of the possessions of the College of the Fraternity of the Guild, dissolved by Act of Parliament, 1 Edward VI; purchased by Geo. Ward and Edw. Morgayne by letters patent of James I 26 March 1608 under yearly rent of 26s.8d.; these conveyed to Ric. Newold, 28 March 1608; he to Robt. Bowers 16 November 1608; who devised 13 October 1633 to Leon. Bowers, and one half to Rose Hayward by the name of Rose, dau. of Ric. Beckett. Witn. Thos. Braye, Jas. Chamber, Wm. Blewett, Fra. Hawkins. Three tags for seals.
