Draft Court Roll for the manor of Cardington [many words crossed out and alterations]
Front of document reads... 'Cardington Court held in October 1711 in the names of Henry Thompson Marmaduke Pricket & Thomas Crofts Esquires Trustees appointed by the will of Doctor Charles Palmer for speical trusts and purposes his eldest Son & Heir Charles Palmer being then a minor. I do not find that the minuets of this court were ever made up into a Roll, at least i cannot find any such roll'.
