Scope and Content
'I write these few lines to you hoping as the Sessions is drawing near that you will consider my situation in this place of confinement and I humbly beg your pardon for what I have transgressed against you and your wife ... I am very sorry for doing so and hope by humblying myself and begging your pardon for doing so you will not relate any thing on my behalf that will injure me at the Sessions no worse in distress than I am at this time now confined and I, William Farrow, will think it a duty owing to me to be thankful for your benovolence for the future ...'
