Letter from Theresa at Maison Gontaut, Pau, France. Frances wrote last time. Thanks for money. Twenty francs lately spent on History of the Queen of France. Since Andrew left, been occupied in drawing, lessons in water colours from Mademoiselle Dantinguenave (sister of man who taught perspective to them at Park Street. He died in London about six months ago.)

English Church lately very much enlarged. contributing a few drawings to sell at Bazaar to help for it. “Frederica thinking of sending some water colour figures of the Pyrenean peasants, which she has been doing lately”. hope cough will have left him by time next writes. She has had no cough this winter although winter unusually severe.
