- TitleLetter from Charles Dymoke Green at Oaklands to "Jack" [John Thomas Green] "I wrote to you in a hurry from Town. WHT was quite pleased with the memo and himself proposed the new condition of clause 8 which of course I cannot object to as it would give me in case of his death another share more than my plan viz 8/12 instead of 7/12 [see HN10/273/Tanqueray8]. The only thing is he would benefit by the plan more than I could as he would make up his 8 shares as well as given [sic] his son one. But I cannot see that I need object to it on that account. On the other side I send you clause 9 as proposed which I think will convey my meaning. Put it into your own words and let me have it ready to sign by Tuesday next when WHT will have returned from Liverpool. We have acted upon it and passed the entries through the books for the quarter. Partnership for a term omitted". "In the event of the death or retirement of either of the said WHT Senr or CDG the survivor of the two shall have power to make up his shares to 8/12 and no more out of the shares of deceased or retiring partner's shares and the remaining 2/12 of such shares going to CWT and WHT junr to each 1/12. In the event of the death of CWT his share to be taken by WHT senr and CDG in equal proportion and in the event of the death of WHT Jun his share to be taken by WHT senr"
