Dear Louis, The fact that the Car’s [Commer Cars] application has not yet come through prevented me from being put on the demobilisation list tonight. If the firm put in an application, got it endorsed by the local advisory committee and sent it to my Officer Commanding E company 3rd Beds it would simplify matters immensely and might be instrumental in procuring my release. Will you see what you can do? Best love to Maude and yourself, I am Your’s lovingly Cyril
