Writer has not been feeling well. Proposes to go to Woburn next Tuesday, and could visit Lady Lucas at Wrest. The party would consist of the writer, Lord Hardwicke, and the three daughters [Elizabeth, Anne & Catherine]. Mention of success in Calabria and Sir John Stuart being succeeded by General [Henry Edward] Fox as Commander-in-Chief in the Mediterranean. Receives letters pretty constantly from Viscount Royston; his is still at Stockholm; he intends to set out for Petersburg shortly.
