Fritz does right in assisting the Spanish Embassadress in receiving her company. Grantham did same when Chatelets arrived. Princess of Asturias unwell. The new Infanta has been very ill. The Princess goes in the Coach and walks but not on the road as formerly. Not seen since confinement. Answering Lady Pelham's letter and writing to Tom, wishes he had nothing to do with his Militia. Wrote to Lady Robinson, sends his compliments via Nanny. The Swedish Lady stays at home indisposed. Social life of Corps in decline. Grantham at home a lot, Masin expected soon, hope he will add some life to the situation. Laments the absence of his constant companions etc...
