- Scope and Content- to grandson John Blyth Foster, son of John Foster of Biggleswade, merchant, all lands, hereaditments & premises in Biggleswade now in occupation of - Race & - Banks; if grandson die under 21 without issue the above to go to his sister Ann Foster - to grand-daughter Ann Foster, messuage, farm & lands, part freehold & part copyhold in Brettenham & Thorpe Morieux, Suffolk now in occupation of Thomas Francis, also all copyhold messuages, farm, lands & hereaditments in Dedham, Essex now in occupation of John Blomfield; if Ann Foster die under 21 without issue, above to go to said John Blyth Foster. If both die, then Biggleswade estates to John Foster; Suffolk freehold property to John Foster & John Blomfield of Dedham, late brandy merchant, now a farmer, on trust that if the 2 grandchildren die without issue under 21, they shall dispose of the property. Same with copyhold in Suffolk & Essex; money from sale to be given as follows: - to grandchildren of testator's late brother-in-law John Salmon of Nayland, Suffolk, grocer & draper, deceased - to grandchildren of testator's late Aunt Mary last of Woolverstone, Suffolk, widow to be divided equally among them when 21; meanwhile to be used for their clothing, maintenance & education - to grandson John Blyth Foster, the £2,000 owing to testator from John & William Foster to be paid when he is 21. In the meantime the interest to be used for clothing, maintenance & education of John Blyth & sister Ann - to grandson John Blyth Foster, rents & profits of Biggleswade estate when he is 21 - to grand-daughter Ann Foster rents & profits of Suffolk & Essex estates when 21 if these die without issue before 21, to the other children above mentioned - executors to sell household goods & personal estate to pay debts etc Residue to 2 Foster grandchildren, failing them to others mentioned. witnesses: J.B.
